 The need to establish Imam Hamzat College of Education, a private College of Education, Ilorin, Kwara State is borne out of the desire to improve the standard of Teacher’s education in Nigeria and thereby contribute effectively to the training for Teachers for the primary and junior Secondary education sector of the country.

The Institution is indeed great in that it strives for the maintenance of good moral and academic standards.  We offer a wide range of courses at the NCE and Pre-NCE levels carefully packaged and masterfully delivered via modern technologies.
The College vision is to be the preferred college of Education creating enabling environment for Teacher Training and educational research.
